Welcome to the CTS classroom info pages -

Here you will find details on each general assignment classroom and lecture hall at the UCI campus.

Please note that these pages only include information on rooms that are scheduled by the Registrar for use by any program. Rooms that are managed by Schools directly for their own use are not listed here.

The menu on the left shows all the buildings that contain GAC rooms, and you can see and select rooms by putting your cursor over the building that contains the room you want to see, and then selecting the room you want from the list that will appear.

You can return to this page by using the first entry on the menu.

Here is some general information about the rooms. We have several varieties of classrooms:

Standard GAC (General Assignment Classroom) Equipment: Writing Board, Projection Screen, Instructor Table.

Standard SmartClassroom Equipment:
Windows Computer, Laptop Audio/Video Connections, Internet Connection, VHS/DVD Deck, AMX Touch-Panel Controller, Data Projector, Speakers, Overhead Transparency Projector, Help Phone.

Standard Smart Lecture Hall Equipment:
All SmartClassroom Equipment listed above, plus Document Camera, CD/Cassette Deck, Writing Tablet, Gooseneck Microphone, Wireless Microphone, Preview Monitor.

Standard SmartTrailer Equipment:
Data Projector, Speakers, Female VGA and 1/8” Mini Connection, Female RCA Connections, Wall-mounted Control Pad, Help Phone.

Seating type abbreviations used here:
TAC = tablet arm chairs
Case Seminar = fixed tables and chairs (usually tiered-level)
Seminar = loose tables and chairs
